PADI Deep Diver
The purpose of the PADI Deep Diver specialty course is to familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of diving between depths of 60 feet and 130 feet sea-water. The Deep Diver specialty course is intended to serve as a safe, supervised introduction to deeper diving within the limits of recreational scuba diving. Training emphasizes fun and safety. The goals of PADI Deep Diver training are to develop the student's theoretical knowledge of deep diving and enable the student to plan, organize and make no-decompression dives between the depths of 60 to 130 feet sea-water. Course prerequisites: PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or an equivalent rating, 15 years of age.
The warm, clear waters of North Carolina, coupled with the exciting wreck diving sites helps to make the Crystal Coast one of America's finest locations for Deep Diver training. Academic development is accomplished using PADI's Wreck Diver Manual, Wreck Diver Video and instructor led classroom discussions. Students will make four open water dives over a period of two days visiting some of North Carolina's "World Class" wreck diving sites.
Our course fees includes all instructional fees, PADI Wreck Diver Manual, Certification registration envelope, Wall certificate, Photo and Positive Identification Certification card. Participants may opt to purchase a copy of the Wreck Diver Video for a nominal fee, literally allowing them to start their training on demand. Charter fees are not included in the course fees.
